Guide: Melinda Adams
This experiential workshop will introduce participants to a variety of meditation techniques, since not all types of meditation work for everyone. The workshop will guide the participants through several meditation sessions using several different techniques, including energetic clearing, chakra, chanting, drumming, self guided journeying, silent meditation, and maybe a few others.
The workshop will also help participants, who are interested in incorporating meditation into their daily lives with techniques that help settle the "monkey" mind that we all experience when first starting to meditate. We will discuss some tips and tricks to help with calming the mind and entering a meditative mind state. Techniques will be discussed to help prepare the body, mind, spirit, and environment for meditation.
