Whether you are interested in becoming a Yoga teacher or just wish to enhance your knowledge of the Yogic path, Cathy Valentine Yoga and Live Out Loud  200 Hour Teacher Training program will be for you!

THE TRAINERS
The program is led by Cathy Valentine who is a 200 hour certified Yogi with over 17 years of teaching experience. Her style has often been referred to as a mix of skill and spirit as each of her classes combines the physical challenge of Yoga asanas with a spiritual undertone, creating what has been referred to as an “alluring” experience.

Her love of Eastern philosophy, spirituality and understanding of anatomy are all weaved skillfully into her teachings. By combining these skills with the ancient teachings of Yoga, Cathy’s goal is to encourage her students to find insight and answers to life’s deeper questions, creating transformation and liberation.

Cindy Johannessen  is a 200 certiified yoga teacher with 18 years experience. Her training includes training from Dr. Ray Long, Shiva Rea, Beth Shaw, Unnata Aerial Training, Paul Grilley among others.  Her teaching style is a mixture of vinyasa with long held statics, interlaced with the power of body knowledge, breathe work and bringing the practice into present moment awareness.  Encouraging a gentle and deeper level of self awareness through yogic philosophy, including the yamas and the niyamas.

THE CURRICULUM
This 200 hour Hatha Vinyasa Teacher Training program is certified by Yoga Alliance (RYS 200). It is a complete and progressive learning experience that deepens student’s knowledge and builds a solid foundation for a working Yoga teacher in each of the following fields of study:

~ anatomy & philosophy
~ asanas & sequencing
~ teaching methodology
~ pranayama & meditation
~ energetics
~ history & philosophy
~ Sanskrit terminology
~ ethics & business of Yoga

In this training, you will learn to artfully create a class sequence and teach asanas skillfully. You will be prepared to develop safe and sensible yoga classes for all levels of competency. You will learn to accurately observe students’ bodies and assist them into optimally aligned asanas through the use of words, basic hands-on adjustments, modifications and use of props.

PREREQUISITES
This training may be taken to deepen your own knowledge of Yoga, with or without the intention of ever teaching. Either way, the training and practice schedule requires students to fully immerse themselves in Yoga. Sincere interest and the willingness to study intensely are needed. It is recommended that you have a regular Yoga practice of at least one year prior to this training.

TUITION
The course tuition is $3,275 which includes a $350 initial payment to reserve your spot with the remaining balance due by August 23rd, 2019 or a payment plan set in place.

Option 1Early Bird Option - $2750 paid in full by July 1st.

Option 2 – $3,050 paid in full by August 1st 2019 (a $225 discount)

Option 3- 3,275 paid in full by August 23rd

PAYMENT PLAN OPTION:
Tuition of $3,275 payable as follows:

  • $500 initial payment due by July 1st

  • Followed by 8 equal monthly payments of $347 due on the 1st of each month starting Sept 1.

CONTINUING EDUCATION CREDITS

Already a certified Yoga teacher and want to deepen your knowledge? Continuing education credits (CEU) are available by attending this program on an hourly basis. Cost is $16 per hour (available for certified Yoga teachers ONLY)
